    LIGHTENING PREMIERSHIP

    LIGHTENING PREMIERSHIP

An enjoyable day out for our 13b netball team today who participated in the CHNL lightening premiership. With 4 wins from 6 games, they just missed out on the semi final but should be very proud of how they played and represented our club. Well done girls! Well done to our U12s football team at the Lightning Premiership today at Waubra. Winning 2 of their 3 games in perfect football weather! Everyone has a great day and enjoyed some well played football... Thank you to the c

    ROUND 4 v HEPBURN

NETBALL Hepburn proved to be too much to handle for all of our netball teams last Saturday as we failed to bring home any wins at all in a bad day at the office. With very strong teams across the board we were up against top of the ladder in a lot of our matches. The smallest margin of the day went to our ever improving under 13b girls who went down 2 goals to 6. Awards to Adeline Corbett and Lyla Molloy. Emma Gowans and Lauren Bodman were rewarded with the 13a awards for th
    ROUND 3 v BEAUFORT

    ROUND 3 v BEAUFORT

FOOTBALL Skipton brought home the John Fraser Shield on Saturday, winning it for the first time in several years. The winner of the shield is decided by a vote per winning game, and as Skipton only lost one Netball and tied the football games, the day went to us. Earlier in the day, the Under 12s had a good win, keeping Beaufort scoreless. So far this year the opposition across all three games have only managed one point between them. Well done James and his young team. Skipt

    ROUND 2 v DUNNSTOWN

FOOTBALL The oasis of green that is the Skipton Rec Reserve, also known by some as the “Emudome”, hosted our first home game this week. The Under 12s got the day started having a convincing win against Dunnstown. Talking to coach Draffin afterwards, he said how pleased he was with the ability of every player in the side to contribute. Skipton 6.3-39 to Dunnstown 0.1-1. Among the best were Pinky’s Pizza award to Sam Phillips and Skipcoin to Will Sheehan. Before the Under 15s g
    2019 ROUND 1 v GORDON

    2019 ROUND 1 v GORDON

Round 1 kicked off at Gordon on Saturday, the football getting away to a later than normal start due to our lack of an Under 18 side. This is a situation that the club will be working to correct as soon as possible. While we are disappointed not to be fielding a side, we will be moving on and working positively to attract the right players and families to ensure the future of our club. FOOTBALL The Under 12s hit the ground with a new group of excited players with beaming smil
